Fiield Melilot (Melilotus officinalis L.)


It has small yellow flowers, gathered in racemose inflorescences.
Blossom continuously from June to September and the seeds ripen in August.
Used
are the whole herb which contain up to 9% coumarin lakton of cumarin acid with aroma of fresh cut hay, glyukozid metilotozid, tanning substances, resins, mineral salts, mucus substances, choline, etc. flavoni.
 
Field Melilot is an excellent honey, which separates much nectar and pollen.
