Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis L.)


There are straw-colored, white or pink flowers. The leaves are opposite, with handles, widely rhombic ovate or oblong. Blossoms from June to September. Distributed around bushes and rare woods in grassy and stony areas near settlements, along fences, through yards and gardens throughout the country. Used are leaves and blooming top of the stem.
  Contains essential oils, tanning substances stahioza, mucus substances, resin, vitamin C and others.
